Updating without losing your notes

A guided update isn't part of the kit yet. When it is, it will live here, step by step, like the setup. Until then, the safe rule is simple:

  • Keep your vault where it is. Never unzip a new version on top of it.
  • Download the new kit into a separate folder, and read the notes below to see what changed.

    • Added vault/06-reference/Working with AI - Tips & Insights.md: a top-10, habits, prompting, trust and verification, context, privacy, life admin, family, work, technical tips and a pitfalls table.
    • Harness plan: new step P3.5 (pick two habits from the tips note).
    • Interview Round 5: new question about how those habits went.
    • Guide landing page and README link to the tips note.
    • Repository scaffolding for maintainers: AGENTS.md, maintainer skills, docs, checks, build and release automation.

    October 2026
    • First release: 8-page offline HTML guide, Obsidian vault template, 5-round interview, function catalog (103 functions), harness plan P0–P7, 9 starter skills.
